Meeting Benefits

In a recent survey, our members shared that the top three factors that make their NAPO-Ohio memberships meaningful are:
  1. Access to Other Organizers
  2. Roundtable Discussions
  3. Educational Benefits
These valuable NAPO-Ohio meetings are where all of these things happen!

The NAPO-Ohio Chapter meets on the second Wednesday of every other month -- January, March, May, July, September and November -- in Columbus, Ohio.

Our meeting locations vary by month and the location of our next meeting will be provided to you upon our receipt of your meeting registration.

What to Expect
  • Dress for our meetings is business casual and you should expect to them to last 4 hours. Our meetings run from 10AM until 2PM. For those considering becoming an organizer, we offer a New Organizer's Orientation at 10AM, during which your questions will be answered by a veteran organizer.

  • While you participate in the orientation with our other guests, members will be participating in our members only roundtable discussion. We have lively discussions on various topics of interest relating to organizing and running our organizing businesses, such as ethics, sticky situations, and assessments. From 11AM to noon we address chapter business and participate in networking or educational activities.

  • Our program portion of our meeting follows lunch and concludes around 2PM. Programs are educational in nature and are typically geared towards improving your skills as an organizer or improving your skills as a business person.

Examples of programs that we've presented in the past couple of years include:

    - "Safe Home Visits"
    - "An Introduction to Hoarding"
    - "Social Networking"
    - "Understanding Insurance for Professional Organizers"
    - "Organizing the Different Generations”
    - "An Introduction to Chronic Disorganization"
    - "Closet System Design and Installation"
