Member Instructions


Welcome NAPO Ohio Members!  Here are a few tips for logging into our new website and registering for an upcoming meeting.



LOGGING ON

To login to our new website:
  1. Near the top of the website, you will find the log in area.  Way up there, see it?
  2. First enter your e-mail address, this is the one  listed for you under "Find an Productivity and Organizing Professional ".
  3. Next enter your password.  This can be emailed to you if you click on the "Forgot password" link!
  4. Finally, press the "Login" button.
Note:  If you wish to change your email address, you can log in and then edit your profile. Your email address can be changed along with all your contact and pertinent company information.



OTHER TIPS

You can ...
If you login, you can ...
  • View items such as education, policies, and other important links on the "Useful Links" page in the members only section.
  • Post items on the discussion area by logging into the site and then click on the "Discussion" page in the members only section.
  • Update your directory listing by logging into the site and then click on the link "view profile" on the top right corner, then press the "edit profile" button.
  • Receive emails based on your e-mail subscriptions you have elected on your profile settings on the "E-mail Subscriptions" tab.
  • View photo albums by click on a fellow organizer's name, scroll to bottom of their contact information.
  • Post photos on your personal photo album, on your profile settings on the "Member Photo Album" tab.


VIDEO TUTORIALS

We are using the Wild Apricot system for our club management. Watch these videos to learn more about all the pieces that make up our site, specifically:

MEMBER RENEWALS
  • Once you login, go to your Profile.
  • Click on the to "Renew" your membership.
  • It will prompt you to review your information.
  • Next you will be transferred to PayPal for your payment information.
  • Be sure to press the "Pay Now" button, and print your receipt.
  • When you return to the NAPO-Ohio site, you will see a confirmation message.



RSVP TO A MEETING

To register for an upcoming NAPO Ohio meeting:
  1. Go to "http://napo-Ohio.com".
  2. Login (see steps to the left).
  3. Go to "Meetings" under Members-Only section.
  4. Click on "Register" button for the next meeting.
  5. Enter your email address, it will auto-fill in for members. Press "Next" button.
  6. Pick the "Member Ticket - Free" option. Your cost is covered in your annual dues! Press the "Next" button.
  7. Enter any dietary restrictions that you may have, otherwise leave this blank.
  8. Checkbox the "Include name in list of event attendees".  Press "Next" button.
  9. Click on the "Confirm" button or make any necessary changes by pressing "Back" link.
  10. You will receive an email with all the details, including the address for the meeting.
Note:  You do not need to RSVP if you cannot make the meeting!  We just need a count of who will be there for the food arrangements.  Thank-you!

Admins:  You must click on the "To member view" in order to RSVP to a meeting.



 MEMBER CHAT

Once you are logged into the website, navigate to the Members Only page, you will see a sub-page called "Member Chat".
  • Enter a topic, by pressing the "New Topic" button, enter your text, then press "Create".  You can also "Edit" your topic if you typo-d or forgot something!
  • Subscribe to the entire chat area or just the area you would like email notifications.  Press the "Subscribe" button for the entire chat or just the desired Topic.
  • View your profile settings, then Edit your profile, then "E-mail Subscription" tab.  Settings are weekly, daily, or immediate).
  • Press the "Unsubscribe" from within the area to not receive email notifications.
